Fodor's Review:

This simple hotel sits between the main square and the train station. Some of the very affordable rooms even have balconies, so you can enjoy a view of behind-the-scenes Freudenstadt. The restaurant ($) provides a hearty meal with local dishes. House specialties include Flammkuchen, which is similar to a pizza but thinner and with toppings such as sour cream, bacon, and onions. Pros: friendly, informal, centrally located. Cons: some rooms small, furnishings quite modest.
