The Black Forest Sights

Europa Park

Updated 11/13/2013

Fodor's Review

On an area of 160 acres, Europa Park draws more than 3 million visitors a year with its variety of shows, rides, dining, and shops. Among many other things, it has the "Eurosat" to take you on a virtual journey past clusters of meteors and falling stars; the "Silver Star," Europe's highest roller coaster; a Spanish jousting tournament; and even a "4-D" movie in which you might get damp in the rain or be rocked by an earthquake.

Fun for all ages

I've been on all the rides and seen most of the shows. I have been with and without kids. There is something for all ages, even really little kids. Silver Star was -wow. I'm roller coaster ethusist and it was like no other coaster I have ever been. The other rides are good too. Food is excellent, not too pricey. Well worth the price.
