Hinterzarten
The lovely 800-year-old town of Hinterzarten is the most important resort in the southern Black Forest. Some buildings date from the 12th century, among them St. Oswaldskirche, a church built in 1146. Hinterzarten's oldest inn, the Weisses Rossle, has been in business since 1347.
