Seehotel Zur Post Review

The lake views from most rooms are somewhat compromised by the main road outside, but a central location, a winter garden, a terrace, and a little beer garden are pluses. The restaurant (¢ -$), with a panoramic view of the mountains and the lake, serves fresh fish and seasonal dishes; the "venison weeks" draw diners from far and wide.

    Seehotel Zur Post Review

    Dinner in the restaurant was the best part of our stay here. Tegernsee is beautiful and the hotel has a great location. The rooms on the road are noisy in the early AM as traffic started up. Not much traffic throughout the night so not as bad as expected. The decor is dated and needs a face lift, but everything was clean and comfortable. For the value and location we would stay here again. Tegernsee can be expensive. Some renovations were occuring in the breakfast area. Staff friendly and helpful.
