Fodor's Review

Looking like the cabin of a Kogge (a Hanseatic sailing vessel), the oldest sailors' beer tavern in town serves mostly fish. Order the Mecklenburger Fischsuppe (fish soup) if it's on the menu. The Grosser Fischteller, consisting of three kinds of fish—depending on the day's catch—served with vegetables, lobster and shrimp sauce, and potatoes, is also a popular choice. Meals are served from 4:30 pm, but it's open for unremarkable snacks from 11:30.
