Part of the centuries-old complex of buildings ringing the town castle, this ancient and popular hostelry is the best place to enjoy fine wines and hearty German dishes in Meissen. It's also worth a visit for the sensational view of the Elbe River valley from its large dining room and tree-shaded terrace.
