Munich's cream-color taxis are numerous. Hail them in the street or phone for one (there's an extra charge of EUR 1 if you call). Rates start at EUR 2.40. Expect to pay EUR 8-EUR 10 for a short trip within the city. There's a EUR 0.50 charge for each piece of luggage.
