With well-thoughtout designs and free Wi-Fi, the Motel One chain has jumped ahead of the game with its simple but classy concept. This up-and-coming series of design hotels caters to the young, fast-paced professional. Boisterous furniture and offbeat colors give the place a slightly edgy feel. The service is terrific and there are no hidden costs. This location is one of seven throughout Munich (there are more across Germany) and they are a great option for the price. Pets cost €5 extra and parking €15 for 24 hours. The location, near Sendlinger Tor, is perfect for the historic Altstadt.
