Renner Hotels-Carlton

Fodor's Review:

The Carlton is one of three little hotels—all within a block of each other—that form a privately owned chain in the heart of the museum quarter and a hop-skip from the English Garden and Schwabing. The location is also really close to downtown, just north of City Center. The Carlton has a bit more flair than the other two (Antare and Savoy), but if the Carlton is booked up you have a good chance of getting something at the others. All three are clean and simple, have generous breakfast buffets, and are very fairly priced. Pros: centrally located, fairly priced. Cons: elevator only goes up to the 4th floor, you have to climb the stairs to go higher, rooms on main street can be noisy, parking is a short walk away.

  • Hotel Details: 32 rooms
  • In-room: Wi-Fi.
  • In-hotel: Wi-Fi hotspot.
  • Rate includes: Continental breakfast
  • Credit Cards: AE, MC, V
  • Metro: Between Universität and Odeonsplatz (U-bahn)
