Schloss Zwingenberg Review
About 53 km (33 mi) from Heidelberg a castle stands above the village of Zwingenberg, its medieval towers thrusting through the dark woodland. Some say it's the most romantic of all the castles along the Neckar (except for Heidelberg, of course).
Schlossfestspiele Zwingenberg. The annual castle festival, which features theater and concert performances, takes place within the ancient walls of the Zwingenberg in August. 06263/771. www.schlossfestspiele-zwingenberg.de.
