Blankenese Review
Blankenese is one of Hamburg's surprises—a quiet neighborhood west of downtown with the feel of a quaint 19th-century fishing village. Some Germans like to compare it to the French and Italian rivieras; many consider it the most beautiful part of Hamburg. The most picturesque part of town is the steeply graded hillside, where paths and stairs barely separate closely placed homes.
