Hamburg Restaurants

Au Quai

Au Quai Review

The Au Quai is still the shining star among the row of romantic restaurants nestled on the harbor's waterfront. In 2011, the restaurant renovated its terrace, which draws many to the waterside perch in the summer. The dining room, like the menu, is eclectic. An Asian goddess statue looks over a koi pond and classic candelabras illuminate contempory tables and chairs when the sun stops shining through the wall of windows. A spring chicken filled with buffalo mozzerella and sundried tomatoes sits on the same menu as a flavorful soup boasting pureed yellow lentils, curry and cappuccino. This is a favorite of the fashionable and businessmiessmen alike. The 18.50 euro Business Lunch includes parking.
