Fodor's Review

Höchst's most interesting attraction is the Justinuskirche, Frankfurt's oldest building. Dating from the 7th century, the church is part early Romanesque and part 15th-century Gothic. The view from the top of the hill is well worth the walk. The organ concerts here are famous.

My favorite church in Frankfurt

This church was consecrated in 850, making it a Carolingen church. Stunning unique pillars, beautiful altars, baroque organ, and the garden behind the church shows off the herbs and flowers used by the Antoniter monks to cure Ergotism. Climb the tower for a great view of the Main. Only open 14:00-16:00, Tue. thru Sun. Apr. to Oct. and in Winter, only Sat. & Sun.
