Fodor's Review:
The Merkur's large, comfortable rooms typify the high standards of German hospitality. A solid breakfast is served in the pleasant breakfast room. In the middle of Baden-Baden, the hotel's setting is quiet. If you stay for three, five, or seven days, ask for the special package, which includes cheaper rates, free admission to the casino and the Caracalla-Therme, a sumptuous meal, free parking, a glass of champagne, and a special cocktail at the bar.
