Freiluftkinos (Free Air Cinemas) Review
When warm weather hits the city and Berliners come out of hibernation, they often head to the Freiluftkinos (free air cinemas). These outdoor viewing areas are in just about every park in town, offer food and drinks, and screen a good balance of German and international films, many of them new releases. Check the Web site for schedules from three of the city's best, in Volkspark Friedrichshain, Mariannenplatz Kreuzberg, and Volkspark Rehberge in Wedding.
