Eastern Comfort Review
The Spree River is one of Berlin's best assets, and you'll wake up on it in this moored, three-level ship with simple cabins. First-class cabins for one or two people are on the middle deck, and the lower-deck rooms can accommodate one to four guests; some cabins have a private bath. Your view is of either the river or the stretch of the Berlin Wall called the East Side Gallery. Within sight of the wraparound deck is the turreted Oberbaum bridge. The setting is great for watching the sunset and is close to plenty of nightlife. The crew minds the reception desk 24 hours. The lounge/bar area hosts a "world language" party on Wednesdays followed by live music.
