Fashion photography and hall lamps remind guests of the artists and designers who lived in this apartment house on an elegant Ku'damm side street beginning in 1911. Each basic room is different, but they all share retro elements such as olive rotary phones or sherbet combinations of bright-red carpeting and mango-color walls. Triples and quads can be set up in these mostly high-ceiling rooms, children up to 12 stay for free with an extra bed in their parents' room, and a warm breakfast is included. Doubles that have a shower but share a toilet with a second room range from €69 to €82. Ask for a fourth-floor room. Special offers may be available in winter and for stays beginning on a Sunday night.
