Fodor's Review:
Near Kreuzberg's and Friedrichshain's alternative nightlife scene and a five-minute walk from the subway, this former factory building -- solar powered -- is perfect for those who place a priority on mixing with the local scene. Though this is a backpacker stop, basic double rooms and suites with carpeting and metal lockers are also available. To connect to the Internet, insert a euro into the computer at reception. Downside: there are no private bathrooms. Upside: there's a small courtyard with plants, and the café is decent. Seven doubles have a sink, and double prices drop between November and February.
