Fodor's Review

At the bustling corner of Ku'damm and Joachimsthaler Strasse, this hotel excels with its reputable Swiss hospitality—from accompanying guests to their floor after check-in to equipping each room with an iron, an umbrella, and a Nespresso espresso machine that preheats the cups. Beds are specially designed to avoid allergens and provide maximum comfort. You can store and recharge your laptop in the room safe (the safe also charges cell phones). The unusual, rounded building

has a sleek interior with original artwork by Marcus Lüpertz and a respected restaurant. Your room's soundproof windows give you a fantastic view of the area.

First class all the way

This was our second visit to this hotel. We stayed here for four nights this week (March 2004) and had a terrific experience. The public rooms and hotel rooms are just beautiful -- very modern, absolutely clean and well appointed. The staff is friendly and the food is the very best in Berlin. We're already planning our next visit.

Modern Hotel / Good Prices

Nicely designed business hotel; rooms come with an espresso machine which is very nice. However, standard rooms are very small. Breakfast is average, staff do not appear to be well trained; service is average. Good prices though.

Great location

Convenient to everything. Great rooms! Received complimentary upgrade to executive floor and lounge(free drinks and snacks) which was a nice plus. Was on vacation, but will stay again later this year on business.

Great location

Stayed here once in July, 2002 during the Love Parade. Service is impeccable and the room was very good. (They have a neat gizmo that makes fresh coffee in your room). Good concierge service - they knew good restaurants around town. Can't beat the location - being right on the Ku'Damm - my only gripe being that there is no grand entrance, you have to take the elevator to the 3rd or 4th floor to get to the reception. I would definitely stay here again.

modern design and good service

Perfect location at Kudamm near Gedaechntiskirche. Great service, excellent buffet breakfast, modern design, opt for the Kudamm view rooms at upper floors (lvl 6-8). All rooms come with an espresso machine (Lavazza), which is a nice gem. All Rooms are noise-protected, especially towards the corridors and neighbouring rooms. Turndown service comes with a Toblerone. Internet TV with remote keyboard (7 EUR per half hour), parking at the garage is 16

EUR/day. Spa but no pool.

Perfect Execution

This is the most excellent biz class hotel I've had in 4 months of world travel. Everything is perfect; location, rooms, service, value ($99). You should definitely stay here. However it is not a charming style hotel for honeymooners, more of a perfectly executed biz and tourists hotel.
