This bustling bistro, brightened with Jean Vier-designed striped Basque tablecloths, fills up at lunch and dinner every day. Quick, unpretentious, and always good, the house specialties include such dishes as cod, cassoulet, and wild boar in season (September–March). If you forgot to book, ask if you can wait for a table with a drink at the bistro's recently added salon next door.
