Notre-Dame de la Daurade

Notre-Dame de la Daurade Review

Overlooking the Garonne is this 18th-century church. The name Daurade comes from doré (gilt), referring to the golden reflection given off by mosaics decorating the fifth-century temple to the Virgin Mary that once stood on this site.
