Getting Here

British Airways and Air France fly out of the Airport Montpellier-Méditerranée (04-67-20-85-00), set southeast of Montpellier. Shuttles (€5) leave the bus station about every hour for the airport from Place du Europe (www.montpellier.aeroport.fr). The TGV takes 3 hours, 30 minutes from Paris for about €85, and there are direct trains as far afield as Avignon, Nice, and Marseille. If you're trying to get to the sea, hail bus No. 131 (which passes every half hour for Palavas).
