Although guest rooms here don't quite live up to the high prices, this hostelry—set high above Céret—has terrific terrace views of Mont Canigou and its verdant valley. No wonder this is where the famous French singer Charles Trenet lived for a long time. If your budget allows, opt for one of the villa apartments, as their views are all the more opulent.
