The Loire Valley Sights

Le Tasting Room

Updated 04/07/2014

Fodor's Review

Based in an ancient farmhouse between Angers and Saumur, Le Tasting Room is a small company that showcases the Loire Valley's best wines through all-inclusive tastings and tours. Run by friendly British transplants Cathy and Nigel Henton, who have more than 25 years of experience in the wine industry, the fun, informative vino-themed experiences provide you with an insider’s perspective. You’ll be picked up at Angers train station, given a primer on local wines, served

a home-cooked meal, and then taken to see the neighboring vineyards. The Hentons can also recommend local accommodations or help plan your day trip from Paris. Prices start at €130 per person.
