Le Tasting Room Review
Le Tasting Room offers all-inclusive wine tastings and tours of the Loire Valley's best wines from an insider's perspective. Based in an ancient renovated farmhouse between Angers and Saumur, the small company is run by friendly British transplants Cathy and Nigel Henton, who bring more than 25 years of their experience in the wine industry to visitors looking for a casual, fun and informative experience. They'll pick you up at Angers train station, give you a primer on the local wines, serve a home-cooked meal, and then take you to see the neighboring vineyards, small villages, or even an barge cruise on the Loire River. They can recommend local accommodations or help plan your day trip from Paris. Prices start at €150 a person.
