Just a five-minute drive from Chambord in a tiny village, this country inn serves traditional French haute cuisine in a cozy yet contemporary dining room with a fireplace, exposed beam ceilings, and wrought-iron entry gate. Specialties vary with the seasons, including the foie gras with apricot, pear, and lemon confit, the Challans duck filet with caramelized endives and Szechuan pepper, or the lacquered cod with carrots and Orléans mustard.
