Time seems to have stood still at Claire and Laurent's snug 16th-century countryside manor set on the edge of the forest, an inviting place featuring heavy wooden beams, well-worn terra-cotta floor tiles, and welcoming stone fireplaces. Guest rooms are simple but comfy, and have gleaming new bathrooms. Suites have their own entrances and one opens onto a private garden.
