The Musée du Compagnonnage (Guild Museum) and the Musée du Vin (Wine Museum) are both in the cloisters of the 13th-century church of St-Julien. Compagnonnage is a sort of apprenticeship-cum-trade union system, and here you see the masterpieces of the candidates for guild membership: virtuoso craft work, some of it eccentric (an Eiffel Tower made of slate, for instance, or a château constructed of varnished noodles).
