This bistro, set one street back from the market, has remained one of the most popular in Antibes for more than 20 years. Burly chef Christian Blancheri hoists anything from pigs to apple pies in and out of his roaring wood oven, and it's all delicious. Watch for the duck and crispy chips, sardines à l'escabèche (in a tangy sweet-sour marinade), sizzling lamb chops, and grilled fresh fish.

Excellent wooden-fire cooked meats - one of the best for Magret de Canard around. Nice atmosphere, service is good but it's always so crowded!!
