Visitor Information

The main tourist office for the region, the Comité Départemental du Tourisme de la Dordogne, is in Périgueux. Its multilingual website is a great resource (to access English info, simply click the Union Jack icon). Specific areas—including Périgord Noir and the Lot Valley—also have their own helpful websites, as do many of the local tourist offices . Note that in the small villages many tourist offices have unusual opening hours.
