Hôtel des Recollets Review
One of Sarlat's time-burnished hotels, this find—blessed with a golden-stone facade—is in the southern section of the town's Cité Médiévale, next to the 17th-century Chapelle des Recollets, and is centered around the convent's ancient cloister (which makes an exquisite setting for breakfast). Guest rooms are extremely simple, befitting the rates, but pluses include air-conditioning, minibars, and the nice location.
