Crowned with a picturesque stepped gable, this tiny ensemble of flower-bedecked, stucco-and-stone buildings has a bucolic setting—it rises up from a park, next to the village's abbey church and by a small river that has its own wooden waterwheel. Adorable guest rooms are done up in period antiques, some with oriental rugs and chandeliers; beamed woodwork and good, simple seasonal fare make dining here an added pleasure (restaurant closed for lunch on Monday and Tuesday).
