Vintage Café Review
This popular Old Town wine bar draws a loyal crowd of oenophiles for serious tastings and simple, compatible foods—cod stew, hot lentil salad with smoked haddock, beef stewed with capers and pickles, and a pressed-goat-cheese terrine. The bar still dominates—all the better for bellying up to a glass of côstières de Nîmes—but the dining room has expanded to embrace the neighboring building. Bright ceramics and warm lamplight enhance the warm-ocher Mediterranean interior. Summer nights on the terrace are idyllic.
