Duck into an Old Town back alley and into this cross-vaulted grotto that embodies Nîmes's Spanish-bohemian flair. Candlelight flickering on rich tones of oxblood, cobalt, and ocher enhance the warm welcome from the staff. Mouthwatering goat-cheese-and-fig gratin, mullet crisped in olive oil and basil, herb-crusted lamb, and seasonal fruit crumbles show off a distinct flair with local ingredients. The homemade cakes and pastries are irresistible.
