Les Arcades Review

Long a success as an upscale seafood restaurant, this beautifully preserved 16th-century house also has large, airy guest accommodations, some with tall windows overlooking a green courtyard. Pristine white-stone walls, color-stained woodwork, and rubbed-ocher walls frame antiques and lush fabrics. Classic cooking includes lotte (monkfish) in saffron and poached turbot in hollandaise, and the house specialty: hot oysters in a creamy herbed-butter sauce. Breakfast, included in the hotel price, can be eaten on the little terrace by the pool.
