Muette Review

This Old Town option has 12th-century exposed stone walls, a 15th-century spiral staircase, and weathered wood, plus Provençal prints and fresh sunflowers in every room to add just the right homey touch. Modern conveniences include sparkling blue-and-white-tile baths, excellent beds, and flat screen TVs.

    Welcoming and friendly: thoroughly recommend

Arles is a strange mixture of Roman splendour and modest dilapidation. As Roman buffs we were not concerned too much with the latter. Wonderful markets, shops and surrounding countryside. Need to hire a car to see the region at its best. As an middle age Brit ,driving is relatively stress free!
