After designing a dozen collections for Chanel, Gau struck out on her own, opening this neo-Baroque boutique on the charming Rue des Quatre Vents. She takes her inspiration from glamorous French movie icons, dreaming up styles that are elegant and sexy without being trashy. Sleek pumps, wedge booties, ballerina flats, and riding boots (all in the finest quality calf, reptile, and lambskin) are as classy as they come. Bags share the spotlight, with updated riffs on the classics.
