By Terry is the brainchild of Yves Saint Laurent's former director of makeup, Terry de Gunzburg. This small refined store offers her own brand of "ready-to-wear" makeup that is a favorite of French actresses and socialites. Upstairs a team of specialists creates what de Gunzburg calls haute couleur, an exclusive made-to-measure makeup line tailored for each client (very expensive and you'd need to book an appointment far in advance).
