Hôtel Palma

Fodor's Review:

This modest hotel in a small 19th-century building between the Arc de Triomphe and Porte Maillot is an exceptional deal considering its rather aristocratic neighbors. Cheerful and homey rooms have hand-painted wood furnishings, floral-motif fabrics, and tile bathrooms. Ask for one on an upper floor with a view across Rive Droite rooftops. There's air-conditioning on the sixth (top) floor only. Pros: close to the Champs-Elysées; cozy decor; quiet location. Cons: a bit off the beaten track; no air-conditioning on lower floors.
