Citronnelle et Galanga

Citronnelle et Galanga Review

For 20 years the Ta family has served up the enticing cuisine of French Indochina (Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam) much to Parisians' delight. Their newest and sleekest outpost near the elegant Place des Victoires has creamy banquettes, black lacquered chairs, and exotic travel posters to set the mood for dishes like plump raviolis with minced vegetables and pork, spicy marinated whole fish wrapped in banana leaves and poached in coconut milk, or minty vegetable spring rolls. Desserts are light and refreshing, like green-tea flan or roasted mango with black-sesame tuilles. Wines by the bottle or glass pair well with unusual spices. At €15 for the two-course lunch menu and €28 for three courses at dinner, it's also an excellent bargain.
