This six-table épicerie-bistro-wine bar-traiteur on a pretty cobbled street is just the thing for an uncomplicated lunch, dinner, or afternoon snack. Next door to the popular old-style bistro Astier, and run by the same owner, it's the kind of place where you can follow your pleasure—whether that's just a great glass of wine and a plate of charcuterie and/or cheese you're hungering for, or a full meal, the classic French fare is always excellent. Tasty rotisserie chicken
is served daily, along with another main, like gigot d'agneau, rabbit, or duck fresh from the kitchen next door, along with a creamy potato gratin, side salad, or soup of the day, with a dense almond financier for dessert. All this for under €17 for a two-course lunch and €27 for a three-course dinner. Pas mal! The big table is great for groups of five or more. You can also take anything out for later delectation.
