St. Christopher's Inn

Fodor's Review:

Overlooking the canal, near the Parc de la Villette, this British-run hostel is the first purpose-built hostel in Paris, and opened in 2008.The spacious rooms have individual lockers, linens, curtained beds, and the women's-only floor includes towels. There's a large bar and restaurant open to the general public, an Internet room, and free Wi-Fi throughout. Pros: spanking new facilities; bike rentals; 24-hour reception. Cons: a bit far from the major sights; can be noisy since it attracts groups of young travelers.

  • Hotel Details: 175 rooms
  • In-room: no phone, safe, no TV, Wi-Fi.
  • In-hotel: restaurant, bar, Internet terminal.
  • Credit Cards: MC, V
  • Metro: Riquet
