Fodor's Review:
This intimate square behind the Panthéon doesn't start to swing until dusk, when its cafés and bars fill up. Café Delmas, at 2 place de la Contrescarpe (01-43-26-51-26) with its large terrace and comfy club chairs attracts a mix of students and professionals. During the day the place de la Contrescarpre has something of an intimate, small-town feel to it, as people haggle over produce at the daily market at the bottom of rue Mouffetard.
