Fodor's Review:
Castañer riffs on all the current trends in footwear to propel the traditional into the 21st century. Espadrille styles include mules, platforms, and traditional flats with ankle ties, in leather, linen or silk. Some models head into evening with beading or sequins. Rubber-soled ankle boots and leather ballet flats are seasonal hits, along with à la mode straw or linen bags, and the most adorable sun hats this side of the Pyrénées.
