Hôtel Millésime Review

The beautiful stone archway of this 17th-century city mansion in St-Germain-des-Prés was the original entrance to the Saint Germain Abbey—as you enter, you'll feel transported to the sunny south of France. Rooms are decorated in warm reds, yellows, and royal blues, with rich fabrics and sparkling tiled bathrooms. The centerpiece is the gorgeous Provençal courtyard with ocher walls and wrought-iron balconies. Ask for room No. 15, which has its own entrance. Friendly service and a copious buffet breakfast with a bounty of fresh pastries, morning charcuterie, fruit, and cheeses make this a great find. Free Wi-Fi, a personal safe, and satellite TV are added bonuses.

    Warm, gracious environment and service!

What a lovely little hotel! The perfect location (in the 6th, St Germain), comfortable, immaculate rooms, and the most gracious, helpful staff! This was my first trip to Paris, but I'd stay here again, no question. The breakfast room is lovely (was the wine cellar of a former abby). I'd highly recommend the Millesime!

    Hôtel Millésime Review

We very much enjoyed our time at Hotel Millesime, and will stay here on future visits to Paris. Our room was a triple on the top floor - the glass elevator was a treat for our son to ride. The room was comfortable and clean, and large enough for three. The bathroom was good-sized and clean, though the mirror was placed a little high up for me. The desk staff was helpful and gracious. We did not eat at the hotel, preferring to eat outside at a nearby cafe. The location is ideal, very close to many sites, but on a quiet street. And it's just a few steps away from the patisserie Laduree.

    Hôtel Millésime Review

We got a warm welcome when our taxi dropped us off at the Millesime Hotel and plenty of support from the staff during our stay. The manager and the desk clerks were ready with good restaurant suggestions or just casual conversation whenever we passed through the lobby. Although the Milesime is a small hotel, there is room to sit and meet others in the lobby . There is also a public computer terminal. This was helpful because the Millesime like many of the hotels we stayed at in France subscribed to a sponsored wifi service with unreliable service. The rooms were nice but I would recommend getting a Superior to give yourself some elbow room. We ended up opting to have a reasonable continental breakfast brought to our room rather than having the buffet in the basement. Rue Jacob's location near St. Germain des Pres has moved upscale as the butchers have been replaced by trendy design boutiques. There is still a lot of vitality to the neighborhood with all the restaurants and bars on Rue de Buci and Rue de Seine. you can walk over to Notre Dame or across the Seine to the Louvre easily and the Metro is right at St. Germain des Pres. We tried staying near the Champs Elysee on our last visit and found it quite relaxing to be back on Rue Jacob.
