Le Guinguette de l'Ile du Martin-Pêcheur takes you back to the days of open-air accordion balls, picnics, and dancing on the banks of the Marne. Originally a Sunday break for the urban working class, it now runs Saturday nights, and draws a diverse crowd of older regulars and curious younger people. The music's mostly traditional bal musette (accordion music), with some swing and Dixieland jazz. Take RER A, direction Boissy-St-Léger. It's closed December through March.
