$$$-$$$$, République
Fodor's Review:
Designer Jean-Philippe Nuel's sleek hotel opened in 2003 and has been courting discerning guests ever since. The daring interior splashes fuchsia on the walls. Rooms are more subdued in cream, chocolate, and chestnut. Clever elements include clear-plastic desk chairs and silver rubber duckies to float in the tubs. The fifth- and sixth-floor rooms facing the street offer balconies with chimney-pot views to the west. One of the hotel's two seventh-floor suites has a bathtub right in the bedroom. There's free wireless Internet.
