Hôtel Duc de Saint-Simon

Fodor's Review:

If it's good enough for the notoriously choosy Lauren Bacall, you too may fall for the Duc's charms. Its hidden location between boulevard St-Germain and rue de Bac is one plus. Rooms are outfitted in shades of yellow, green, pink, and blue and filled with antiques. Four rooms have spacious terraces overlooking the courtyard and the drooping wisteria. The 16th-century basement lounge is a warren of stone alcoves with a zinc bar and plush seating. To keep the peace, parents are discouraged from bringing children along.
