On place Pigalle, within view of Sacré-Coeur and just a catcall from all the sleazy sex-shop action, the Villa Royale has been designed to evoke the Moulin Rouge's bygone days. Every square foot of lobby, lounge, corridor, and room is draped in blood-red satin, circus-tent stripes, or deep-blue velvet; bathrooms are brash gold, brass, and marble. Royal suites are equipped with Jacuzzis, flat-screen TVs hidden behind gilt picture frames, and gas fireplaces that light up the gaudy love nests.

Somehow this Hotel gets four star rating sheets were ripped, room dusty and half light bulbs were missing for price of 250euro a night think a bit of a rip-off considering area and the only extras out side you room is small dining room in basement! Otherwise some rooms have nice view and beds comfortable. but think you can get better value many 3 star hotels
