Bistro
Le Petit Rétro. A diverse clientele (men in expensive suits at noon and well-dressed locals in the evening) frequents this little bistro with Art Nouveau tiles and bentwood furniture. You can't go wrong with the daily special, which are written on a chalkboard presented by one of the friendly servers. You might spot crisp-skinned blood sausage with apple and honey sauce, blanquette de veau, and a crepe mille-feuille with orange and Grand Marnier. Arrive with an appetite; the food is hearty. There are several prix-fixe menus to choose from, starting at EUR 19.50 at lunch.
