You can find quirky objects galore at the National Museum of Folk Arts and Traditions -- everything from beautifully carved marionettes to 18th-century waffle irons. Many exhibits have buttons to press and knobs to twirl; however, there are no descriptions in English. The museum is a favorite destination for school field trips, so avoid weekday afternoons.
